Meghan McCullah

Meghan is a certified Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor, both through the American Council on Exercise. She also holds certifications in Oh Baby! Fitness (a pre- and post-natal exercise program), Les Mills BodyPump and RPM, Stages Indoor Cycling, and Stages Flight. She currently teaches BodyPump, RPM, Hot Barre, Kickboxing andFlight, and is a coach for Wilson’s Team Training.

When she was pregnant with her first child, Meghan was 120 pounds heavier. “I learned how quickly lifestyle and diet can get out of control.” Meghan came to work (with her baby) in the Wilson’s playcenter in 2006. Being in a supportive, healthy environment led to weight loss, fitness, and education. In 2009 she became a personal trainer and was excited to help others. She maintained a healthy diet and weight through her other three pregnancies, and her passion for exercise grew to encompass group fitness as well.

“I love motiviating people to feel empowered and successful; to so something they didn’t think they could do, or be someone they didn’t think they could be.” She also finds it uplifting to see the camaraderie that develops within a class, training session, andthe gym community.

Emilymay be new to teaching at Wilson’s, but she’s a familiar face in group fitness classes. As a front row participant, she was encouraged for years by her instructors to take the next step in her own journey. A self-proclaimed ‘group exercisefanatic,’ in January 2016 she finally took the leap to become an instructor and completed hercertification inLes Mills CXWorX.

“I just love exercising in classes so much. It’s fun to meet people through the gym, and the group energy is the best for competitive people, like me. I was going to the gym allthe time, so I figured I’d get in on the ground floor of a new Les Mills program here at Wilson’s.”Emily says so far the best things about teaching are making jokes that no one laughs at, and members coming up and telling her how hard a class was or how sore it made them. When they add how much they loved it and that they’ll be back for more, she knows it’s all worth it.

“This 30-minute core class, CX, is a great place for new people to start because it’s short and there are a lot of options. But it’s also great if you’ve been going to the gym for a long time and want to add a short class that will improve your performance in other areas.”
